Same file or individual copies?
Same file when everyone shares one finished PDF. Individual copies when each signer should keep their own. More detail: Same file or individual copies.
When should I Correct, and when should I Void?
Correct when the PDF and fields are right, and you need to fix title, message, deadline, or people who have not signed yet.
Void when you need to cancel, or when the file or field layout must change. Then send a new request (Use template when you can).
More detail: Remind, Correct, and Void.
Remind, automatic mail, and Reopen
- Remind is your manual nudge.
- Automatic mail also reminds unsigned people at 7 days and 3 days before the deadline.
- Reopen is for expired requests. Voided requests stay voided.
Cancelled, expired, declined
- Cancelled / Voided: you stopped the request. Unsigned links end. Finished signatures on that request stay for your records.
- Expired: the deadline passed. You may be able to Reopen.
- Declined: a signer refused. That is their choice, separate from Void.
Request quota vs people cap
- Request quota is how many requests you can create in the period.
- People cap is how many signers + CC fit on one request (default 25).
Details: Quotas and limits.
Do templates use my quota?
Saving a template is free. Sending from a template uses one request.
Individual copies downloads
Download one person’s finished file, or a zip when the request page offers it.
What does Viewed mean?
They agreed to sign electronically and opened the document. Getting the email alone does not set Viewed.
Can I change the PDF after send?
Void, then create a new request with the right file. Templates make the rebuild faster.
Can I undo a signature someone already finished?
Finished work on that request stays. If you need everyone on a new file, send a new request and have the right people sign again.
